We suggest that you and your baby or child attend in comfortable clothing to enable you to participate in gentle stretching and movements during our sessions.
If your baby needs feeding during your session, please do stop to feed your baby. If it's during your baby massage or yoga course you will be able to continue to watch and practise what you leant at home. Alternatively we always recap on the previous weeks session at the beginning of the preluding week.
We do ask that if your baby or child is ill that you stay at home and don't bring them to session. It's unlikely they are going to want to take part, and may become very unsettled during your session. Please do email or text to let us know you wont be attending and we will try our best to accommodate a catch up session.
After immunisations, we suggest you wait 24-48 hours before returning to the studio.
Although baby massage can be done from birth, we don't recommend bringing your babies until they are at least 6-8 weeks old. The courses that we hold can have up to 8 attending mothers and their babies which can be quite overwhelming in the first few days of your babies life.
In order to attend baby yoga, your baby must have had their 6-8 week healthcare check nor be less than 14 weeks pregnant
Although mothers tend to follow on to baby yoga from baby massage, this is not essential and you are more than welcome to come and join us without any previous knowledge of baby massage or having done it elsewhere.
Our age ranges for our sensory drop-in sessions are as follows:
Baby Sensory - approximately 0-8 months (or until baby is able to sit unaided)
Crawling Sensory - approximately 8-18 months (or until child is confidently walking)
Toddler Sensory - approximately 18 months +
Themed Sensory Course - Every course has it's own age suitability
Here at Together As One we use organically cold pressed sunflower oil, we always carry out a skin patch test at the very start of the baby massage course to ensure there are no allergic reactions.
You do not need to have attended any form of yoga before to attend one of our yoga courses. Both baby and toddler yoga are adaptations of adult yoga, but do not require any previous experience.

Toddler yoga is suitable from 1 until 4 years old
Please bring a cushion and blanket for our massage, yoga and tummy time courses.
Please bring a bottle of water for yourself and your child for all sessions.
