Hi, I'm Lindsay and I am the creator and founder of Together as One, but perhaps more importantly to you, I'm the Baby Massage and Yoga Instructor. Now let's be honest, if you're going to trust someone to deliver a session for you or your baby or toddler, you want to least see who I am and know a little bit about me to ensure Together as One is the right choice for you and your little one.
Outside of Together as One I am a mother to 2 children, and after spending 12 years surveying roads and railways as a Quantity Surveyor, I found myself unable to maintain a healthy work life balance. So I quit and began to focus on what was important for me and my family. Some questioned my decision, called me mad to walk away from a well paid career, but there was a fire burning inside of me that I couldn't ignore.
And that fire was a passion to bring together a community of mothers and caregivers which I soon realised had been part of my identity even prior to having my children. However, it wasn't until I had my first son back in 2015 it quickly become apparent that baby and toddler classes needed to be bought in line with the ideology that no family, baby or toddler routine is ever the same. I mean we may not be same but we are mothers, fathers and caregivers just trying to do our best by our families right? And despite our differences, we can still come together as one to create a community, where the support goes beyond the studio.
And that is exactly what brought me to where I am today.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope you can see my passion and vision. I look forward to seeing you in one of our classes very soon.
Hi, I'm Vicky, but you will become to know me as the Sensory and Tummy Time Instructor here at Together as One. So here's a little background to who I am before you decide to join me on your parenting journey.
Outside of Together as One I am a Level 3 Early Years Educator and I previously worked at a nursery locally. However, during lockdown one in 2020, I gave birth to my little boy and my passion and enthusiasm for learning through play led me to Together as One.
After looking after so many children within a nursery setting, I truly always believed motherhood would be easy. I mean I could handle 12 toddlers in one room at once, this should be easy right? But I soon realised it wasn't, I felt out of my depth, yet at the same time so incredibly lucky and blessed to have my little boy. Throughout my parenting journey and career as a Early Years Educator, I have learnt so much about myself and parenting, more than I ever thought I would. Now I want to share my experiences and knowledge with you all, and support you all on your journey.
Professionalism is part of my DNA, but I also like to have fun, who doesn't? My vision is to be here for every single one of you, not just your children and babies but you as mothers and caregivers too and I cant wait to share your journeys with you all.
